Yes - you can go home again. The whole crowd is back for the ten year-plus high school reunion. They're older and somewhat wiser -except for the offensive-but-oh-so-lovable Stifler.
It begins with a now-married Jim and Michelle in bed, not having sex, but trying to get their toddler to sleep. Oh, what kids can do to unsex your life! Everyone has matured except Stifler, who steals the movie, along with a now-widowed Eugene Levy.
A lot of mostly raunchy comedy is thrown against the wall and while not all of it sticks, I dare you not to laugh. Out loud. Many times. This one will definitely please The Hangover crowd, 1000% more than The Hangover Part 2. This one's not a virtual re-run in a different setting. It's a more than satisfying update with a surprising sweetness.
Oh - and do stay for the credits. Eugene Levy has a scene that rivals the I’ll-have-what-she’s-having-scene in When Harry Met Sally.
